We're excited to treat you to an extra-special vacation here at Herzl Hotel!

We would like to keep you up to date with the currently valid COVID-19 regulations in Bavaria and therefore update this post regularly so that you have everything compact and up to date summarized in one place without having to search for a long time.

From April 3, 2022 the "3G rule" will no longer apply to our hotel. You Can therefore check in without a vaccination, recovery or test certificate.

The following COVID-19 regulations apply to us during your stay:

  • The valid contact restrictions according to the Bayerische Infektionsschutzmaßnahmenverordnnung must be observed during your stay with us.
  • We ask you to respect and keep the distance regulations of at least 1.5 m to other people.
  • If you have obvious cold symptoms, we are unfortunately not allowed to let you check-in or continue to accomodate you.
  • Please desinfect your hands when entering and leaving the house. We have set up a disinfectant dispenser for you directly at the entrance area.

Check-in: You can check in with us on the day of arrival between 4:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. Payment is made at check-in

Check-out: On the day of departure, we ask you to leave the room by 10:00 a.m. Depending on availability, it is possible to request a late check-out for a surcharge.

24/7 check-in via KeyBox: If you want to arrive after 8 p.m., that's no problem at all! In this case, we ask you to inform us of your request by e-mail to servus@herzl.de before your arrival so that we can send you the PIN code for the KeyBox at our front door. There you enter your assigned PIN code and the compartment for your room card will open automatically.

Please note: The 24/7 check-in via KeyBox option is only possible if you have already paid in advance and after our written confirmation. In all other cases, the check-in times listed above apply.

We ask you to inform us of any allergies or health restrictions when booking. In this way, we can adapt the diverse range of our Erdinger gourmet breakfast to your needs in advance. We reserve the right to charge a small surcharge depending on the complexity of the special requests and by prior arrangement.

All of our rooms are allergy-friendly. We do not use pillows or duvets that are filled with down. In the case of particularly severe intolerances, we ask you to contact us beforehand.

We would like to inform you about the convenience of direct booking. The following advantages await you:

  • A welcome drink of your choice awaits you on arrival
  • With every direct booking, we donate a part of the savings from the agency fees to Tafel Erding
  • Choosing our Green Rate, where you can stay overnight more sustainably and even save a small amount per night
  • And even more spontaneous surprises from the hotel!

We offer you our Erdinger gourmet breakfast daily between 7:30 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. for an extra charge of € 12.50 per person (per child € 7.50). You can expect selected products from regional farmers, where we pay particular attention to sustainable and animal-loving handling.

The entire breakfast area is plastic-free, as we do not use small packaging.

In every room you will find our minibar filled with refreshing drinks and delicious snacks at fair prices.

Unfortunately, pets are not permitted anywhere in the hotel. We would like to pay particular attention to possible allergies of our guests and unfortunately cannot welcome our dearest four-legged friends.

Children are very welcome in our family hotel and sleep free of charge up to including 10 years of age if they sleep in their parents' bed. From age of 11, children count as full-paying guests, so please book an appropriate room with enough beds (Herzl Junior Suite).

We are happy to provide the little ones with a baby cot with cozy bed linen in the room for an additional charge.

We see ourselves as a sustainable hotel and decided against using air conditioning in the rooms during the construction phase. Not only because of the high environmental pollution, but especially because of the risk of possible viruses and germs in times of COVID-19. That is why we opted for a decentralized ventilation system in the rooms, which ensures fresh and clean air circulation between inside and outside.

Would you like to travel to Tropical Spa THERME ERDING, Messe Munich, the train station or Munich Airport? We are happy to organize an individual trip after consultation for an additional charge.

We would like to point out that smoking including e-cigarettes is expressly prohibited in the entire hotel. In the event of disregard, we will charge a special cleaning fee in accordance with our general terms and conditions.

We provide a camera-monitored parking lot directly at the hotel for each room free of charge. We even guarantee the parking space for our direct bookers.

Our reception is available daily from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. If you want to contact us outside of the opening times, the best thing to do is to send us an email to servus@herzl.de. We will get in touch with you as soon as possible. 

In the event of any damage, we ask you to report this to our reception immediately. The provisions of our general terms and conditions apply.

We very much regret it if you can't spend your vacation with us after all. Please let us know in advance if you cannot keep your reservation. Cancellation is free of charge for direct bookings up to 7 days before arrival. In the event of later cancellation or no-show, we reserve the right to charge 90% of the total price if the booked room(s) are not re-let.

COVID-19-Special-Regulation: If you booking cannot be taken due to restrictions, regulations or orders of the Federal Republic of Germany and the Free State of Bavaria (e.g. lockdown), you can cancel your booking at any time free of charge. We will transfer the full total price back to your bank account and therefore ask you to include your bank details when cancelling.

Free WiFi is available in all of our rooms and public areas. A LAN socket is also installed on the desks in the rooms, if you want to connect with a laptop via cable.

We accept the following payment methods in our hotel:

We reserve the right to pre-authorize your credit card for security reasons. Payment is made at check-in.
